How-to Patent & Monetize Your Ideas: Volume I

How many times in your life have you thought, “WOW, that was a great idea I just had, I should patent that and get it out to the world!”. Your brain starts to create this vision only you can see as you begin to think about the possibilities and how cool the idea would be if you could just create it! But How? Where do I even start on this journey with no one around me who has even done this? We tend to not have an answer for this, so we stall and sometimes give up right at that instant. Why? Because we have gone through this before. As reality sets in and time goes by you begin to share the idea to others for support or guidance and they say, “No way, that is too hard to accomplish” or “Someone surely already has that created don’t even bother.” I am here to tell you that they are wrong. If you are the one telling yourself these things, then you are wrong as well. It is okay that you receive doubt from others because maybe they cannot see the potential in an idea that they did not create. It is not okay for you to give up a dream that we have because we do not know where to receive the proper guidance. The resources are among us and you have the power to make that dream real.

We can always make our thoughts and dreams into a reality if we can continue to follow the right path and use the right tools along the way. The path is not straight and can often be strenuous, but the reward is eternal. I did not have a mentor until late on my journey. I made a lot of mistakes and came up short often; yet that did not detour me from the clear vision in my mind. I had a problem and created a solution that I wanted to get out to the world because I was passionate. I went through every emotion on my way to receiving a patent from the USPTO and that gave me the confidence to continue to create my business and climb another mountain that resulted in me making my first of many dollars online.
